Hungerfree in Ramadan
This year’s humanitarian emergency relief for the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan has begun. Together, we can reach 120 Afghan families and 150 families in Turkey – mainly Syrian refugees – with food packages so that they can get through the holy month of Ramadan hunger-free.
With our Ramadan Emergency relief 2024, we want to set an example of solidarity, because around 10% of the world’s population is starving – even though a life free from hunger is a human right. Years of war and dangerous humanitarian crises have left large parts of the Afghan and Syrian populations at the mercy of starvation without support. However, both crises are in danger of disappearing from the public eye.
With your donation, you are sending an important signal of solidarity with people who have been suffering from displacement, violence, natural disasters and financial poverty for years!
Especially during the strenuous period of Lent, this care is an important relief for families. The respective food packages for Afghanistan and Turkey can be donated symbolically in our donation store.

VISIONS X TOMORROW BANK – SUPPORTING EDUCATION IN AFGHANISTAN
Summer is here and the days are getting hotter – also in our project countries that are particularly hard hit by the climate crisis. Extreme temperatures, persistent droughts and floods threaten the livelihoods of millions of people – 27.8 million in Afghanistan alone! Children suffer the most from the consequences of the climate catastrophe and it is their future that is at stake.
To address climate injustices and social challenges, we have joined forces with Tomorrow Bank. We are very excited to be part of their Rounding Up project!
Together, we will support an education project in Afghanistan in late 2023. For more information on the campaign, click here.
